Accreditation
To apply for accreditation as badminton coach in Singapore please fill in this [Application Form]
This document serves to state clearly SBA’s proposed accreditation policies in relation to registration of badminton coaches.
For all those coaches who have been issued Technical Certificates (Level 1) during the period 1998 - 2002, a new Technical Certificate (Level 1) will be issued under the new Accreditation System.
For those who have attended the Technical courses (Level 2) and the IOC (Level 2 & Level 3) during the period 1996 - 2002, some may be issued the new Technical Certificates (Level 2) while the remaining would be issued the new Technical Certificates (Level 2) upon successful completion of the Bridging Course (Level 2). The general assessment is that by itself , none of the Technical courses (Level 2) or Technical courses (Level 3) would have met the higher requirements of the new Technical (Level 2). So for those who attended more than 1 Technical (Level 2) or a combination of Technical (Level 2) and Technical (Level 3) courses, they would have attained the requirements of the new Technical (Level 2) certification.
For all others with Technical Certificates issued by SBA & SSC outside the mentioned period, the applications will be considered on a case by case basis with the appropriate documentary evidence.
All existing full-time national players shall be enrolled onto a course “Fast Track (Lvl 1)" built into their career planning. After successful completion of the course, they shall be minimally exempted from Level 1 Technical.
