Description

The Singapore Badminton Association (SBA) is responsible for the development of badminton in Singapore. In this, the SBA is committed to having a vibrant development environment.

We hope to tap on and strengthen the nationwide wide network for social play. This means the Constituency Sports Clubs (CSCs) and the schools.

Besides the National Training Centre at SBA , SBA also encourages private coaches to tie up with schools for the use of the school hall in setting up a SBA-affiliated training centre. Such centres must be opened to players, not only at the school.

In addition, private coaches may also tie up with organizations like the Community Clubs or the Community Development Councils (CDC) in setting up the regional training centres at Sports Halls. SBA could help CDCs in securing the Sports Halls towards this purpose.

Our clubs also play a big part in the development of our youth.

We believe that development of the youth should not be carried out at only the National Training Centre. SBA hopes to see these training centres, schools and clubs complement SBA in the development programme.
