Executive, Marketing & Business Development

OCBC Arena, Singapore Sports Hub



Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing & Business Development Executive is responsible for implementing strategies to increase membership, possess creative ideas to attract new sponsorship, establish good relationship with existing sponsors and maintaining the online social media platform for wide outreach.


Develop strategic marketing plans as well as work closely with the team for execution of all marketing events, programs and publicity of local/international competitions, Player’s profile etc. Assist in pre-event and post-event management as necessary and develop various marketing and promotion strategies to boost development of the sport.


Organize recruitment drive for new sponsors and online social media advertisement opportunities. Raise public awareness through events, promote Badminton and gain funding support from community. Retain current sponsors and maintain good regular communication with them to build strong relationship with sponsors.


Corporate Communications
Maintain constant update of badminton news on SBA’s various social media accounts and website. Organize Media kit for PR with local media and coordinate with appointed PR agency on specific projects like Singapore Open.



  • Diploma in Marketing / Business Administration / Communications with at least 2 years of events / marketing communications / sales experience
  • Passion for sports andinterest in Badminton
  • Project management skills with experience handling multiple deadlines and schedules
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good sales and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
